Looks a little like the Fallout Steelbook but it's good enough to buy. Good movie, too.

Just realized that the banner doesn't mention a Blu-ray. I know they sometimes do this for re-releases but weird to see on a new release.

Damn. There's only one disc below the Steelbook, in the mockup. Looks like they could be going with just the 4K discs after all. This only frustrates me, when the bonus features are only on the Blu-ray disc, and not included on the 4K UHD disc.

Mockup also shows two disc hubs though. Weird. I tend to watch bonus features via digital copies these days anyway (more convenient), so it's not a huge deal for me. But worth pointing out.

i think MI Fallout did the same or something similar. i thought it was only gonna be a 4k release steel. the site did have it showing as only 4K/DC & the product info didnt mention BD either. that could be just happening with this as well but have BD like Fallout.

Keep in mind that WB just pulled this with Shaft 2019. The 4K release only had 4K disc. There is recent precedent there

Then again Wizard of Oz, Gremlins, Shining, Pan's all had BDs. All catalog titles where everyone and their dad already had the BDs AKA the perfect 4K-only releases

The question is why are they still forcing DVD copies down our throat with most releases, yet they're omitting Blu-rays when 4K is only two years or so old? They held onto combo packs for so long and we're going to 1 disc releases so suddenly? Kind of strange. This is a definite turnoff for me.

If they are going to omit the BD, which is fine with me, they better drop the price at least $8 or so.

If it’s going to be at the same price, heck, give me the BD also so I can give to family or something.

The Best Buy listing mentions “4K Ultra HD Blu-ray/Blu-ray” so it might come with both discs as they usually do for new releases.
