Default Streaming Services - Best Bang for your Buck

Here's an interesting comparison of the major streaming services in terms of quantity of content and value per dollar:

https://blog.reelgood.com/which-stre...r-buck-in-2020

I'm surprised that Prime Video appears to be ahead of Netflix in most categories ...

Wow, that's a shocker to hear because in addition to videos, you get free shipping on your orders. I may switch over from Netflix...

You also get ad-free music with unlimited skips.

I have Amazon Prime because I use them often for shopping. However, I find myself using Netflix way more, mainly for their originals.

We have everything listed in the article. (Which we know is overkill. Lol)
We mainly use Hulu and Netflix, HBO Max now too.

We don’t have cable anymore so we jumped on every streaming service, still cheaper than cable.

We cancelled our cable subscription which we seldom used and subscribed to Netflix's top tier plan for half the price. No adverts and 4K streaming. It was a no brainer.

Netflix and Hulu are by far the best bang for the buck. I have maintained my subscription to those ever since I first signed up, while services such as Prime Video I get for shorter periods of time, when there's stuff I need to watch. I probably won't get Prime again until there's more Maisel and The Expanse.

We have Prime for the shipping. Prime video was just a bonus.

Yo Youtube TV going up to $65, wtf!?

I had Sling Orange previously. Thinking of getting Hulu Live for $55 now cause no way Im paying Youtube $65.

Any thoughts on Hulu Live? Im mainly using it for ESPN and NbA games. I may go back to Sling I guess but having the networks is nice from time time. Sling only has NBC/Fox

Since I gave up cable, I've been happy with Hulu. I can watch some network shows the next day. I have Amazon Prime, but I mainly watch documentaries on it. I dip in and out of Acorn TV, Britbox and Netflix depending on what they have new to watch. I find myself watching regular Youtube a lot, although all the ads bug me now. You used to be able to get through a 20 minute video without a bunch of ads popping up.

Still cheaper and better than cable.
