Are slipcovers going away?

I don't mean on new releases, I mean when companies would reissue older movies with a new slipcover to spark interest. I seem to remember before I got more into the slipcovers that it seemed like every few months a new batch of catalog titles would come out with slipcovers, but I haven't really seen that happen since last year's retro slips that hit Walmarts.
