Depends if you like Sci-fi alien invasion movies.

I thought it was pretty cool, definitely getting it.

Depends if you like
[Show spoiler]war movies. That's all this movie really is, the only difference being aliens are the enemy. It's otherwise a noisy 2 hour weapon/explosion fest and not much more.
Although I didn't think it was a bad film, if I do pick it up, it will be more for audio-demo-material than anything else.

A typical action over narrative movie, but I enjoyed watching this. If you like Steelbooks, it's an action movie by Sony, so I'd be prepared to expect an exclusive from HMV.

Tell me about it, possibly the worst writing for a film I've heard in a long time. You have to wonder how the screenplay got picked up.

I liked it, but its something I would wait for until the reduced price. but if a steel book of it comes out, i would get it day 1 for sure.
the trailer was really good.

I wouldn't think twice if/when it makes the $12.99-$14.99 price.

i dont know what to do about my slip stuck to the back. I like trying to keep them on as it has extra artwork and extra features listings but the bottom part just kind of flaps around

With all slips that come with steels I cut the flappy bit off, fold main part in half and put it inside the case.

Thats probably the best bet, that's what I did with the slip that came with the LOTR Extended set (didn't cut any of it though).
But for steels I usually leave the slip on as they go straight into a DVD/Blu wrap, which will stop it getting lost etc.

Good advice, thanks mate.

Well i watched the movie. I did enjoy it but was a little underwhelmed. I guess when they said it was an Alien version of Black Hawk Down i should've believed them. A lot of the combat was very close quarters and not as epic as i was expecting/ hoping. Well made movie though

Hello, I was wondering if any of you have seen this and Skyline?

If so would you let me know if you thought Battle LA was better or worse than Skyline?

The reason I ask is because I thought Skyline was the
[Show spoiler]worst alien-invasion film I've ever seen and people said that Battle LA was rubbish but after watching Skyline it can't be worse, can it? I'm not asking whether it's a good film, I just want to know whether it's better or worse than Skyline, in your opinions.

Thanks in advance
