Does this website not ship to the US or something? I've tried twice to order a steel from their website. They accept my order, but a few days later, I get a cancellation email with no explanation for the cancellation. I've tried two different valid CC's.
Even more irritating, they completely delete my registered account so I have to start all over. Guess they don't want my business. |

To answer your question, Yes they do ship to US. I've gotten close to 50 SteelBooks from them. Can't understand why you would be having problems and I don't know of a good phone number you can call.
I think they are on Facebook and Twitter, if you use those. You could try to reach out to them that way and see if they can figure out what's going on ![]() Sorry you've been having problems. |

Well I posted on their facebook, and one of their reps emailed me this:
I am sorry to let you know that we are currently unable to ship your order to you as the information provided has not met with our security requirements. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused at this time. If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help. Kind regards, David When I pressed for more information about the security requirements, they said that info was confidential. WTF, is this like some kind of elite buyer's club or something? Really annoyed at this company. |

I've ordered a few times from them. Various things, various prices.
I've used my credit card with them and Paypal, had no issues. What payment method were you using? You also may want to consider if your financial institution (bank? credit card company?) needs approval for you to order with a specific company. When I ordered a region-free Blu-Ray player a couple of years ago, my credit card company had me contact them to verify myself and add this business to their list of approved businesses. The transaction went through without issue and I got what I needed. |

I was about to place an order with Zavvi, and they are going to charge me US State tax!! When did this happen? A UK based company is charging US customers US state tax?
It really takes the bite out of their sales.. With $5 S&H + sales tax, I would have to buy a lot of movies heavily discounted to make it worth my while... |

Did Zavvi combine the UK and US websites, or at least the ordering aspect? I ask because I had a UK account for a long time but last year I registered at the US website, and placed a couple orders there. Orders from the opposite website and account didn't appear. But now it all seems to show up in each.

They are horrid. Six weeks since supposed shipping date and no Dawn of the Dead to be found. They did not even bother responding to my credit card challenge. I'm done ordering from them. This is just the last in a long line of problems with them for me.
