Wow, was NOT expecting this to get a UHD. I figured we were just gonna get a blu-ray.

One of the best gangster films ever made, this might actually be a day 1 for me.

Wonderful.

I personally feel this probably has the single best ending of any movie I've ever seen. Pleasantly surprised to get it in UHD.

My favorite Cagney film.. whose's also my favorite actor.. coming to 4K!

4K and Dolby Vision! Not sure what shape the original elements were in, but if scanned and restored from the original nitrate negatives, this will be stunning.

The shots on the Criterion page look very nice, though perhaps on the darker side. I would guess it's not from the OCN, but who knows. Perhaps details will be mentioned on an upcoming podcast of The Extras George Feltenstein from Warner Archive.
