Default can't view full screen???

i've got a BD-P1400(samsung)
n watch it with my philips plasma
but the image cant go full screen
the top n bottom is blank
i've tried with other blu-ray disc but seems doesnt work
can all the master guide me on how to set it to full screen?

all blu-Ray dics are widescreen format since all HDTV's are widescreen. although some movies are filmed in animorphic so the widescreen will still have basr on top and bottom. If it bothers you that much you should have some sort of aspect ratio selection on your TV you could try that.

actually i'm noob in all this AV stuff n i just got my BD player last night...
cant sleep for the whole night trying to figure it out...
currently only got 1 Blu-Ray disc...
