Clint Eastwood collection (red band)

Hi, I noticed recently that a lot of my Eastwood DVDs have this "Clint Eastwood collection" banner on top (they are all the worse kind of DVD case, the "snap" ones, rather than the actual case, by the way). I was wondering if there actually was some kind of boxset and that I bought these all seperately (I got most of them from used video stores), or if it was a general promotion not part of an actual boxset. I haven't been able to find this information anywhere.

If it's like the one above then it was a range or collection of DVD's. Here in the UK we had them as weekly's, I think Dirty Harry was 1st for like 2.99 then they went up to 7.99 or something for the following issues, they came with a magazine with information on the film and Eastwood. I'm not sure if you have an equivalent if you're in the US. I think they were available to buy separately as well under Warner Bros. The Snapper cases would date them back before 2000 to a few years after.

pretty much all of Eastwood's movies from Warner Bros. got released in the DVD snap case packaging under the banner "Clint Eastwood Collection" The first issued DVD boxed set all five Dirty Harry films also, then once that set got re-issued, it was packaged in a digibook fold out. No other box set containing snap casing of any of his WB filmography was ever issued in the US. Hope this helps.......
