I saw a trailer for this movie today, and it's pretty out there. It's like a cop thriller mixed with a pseudo time-altering gimmick. The movie was originally titled Relive. Release date is set for August 30th.

EDIT: Apparently we posted at the same time. Plot reminds me of Frequency.

I'm most interested in the fact that it's a new movie from Jacob Aaron Estes. His film Mean Creek was superb!

It's a pretty nuts premise, but I'm interested. It's a well-done trailer. I like the way the Reach Out song is used throughout.

Pretty dope set up. Trailer is pretty cool, but of course these things live and die on their pay-offs, so we'll see closer the time.

I saw Mean Creek only last week - loved it. I also really like David Oyelowo (he's brilliant in Nightingale) - so I'll be watching this.

Hahaha. They’re copying their own Get Out trailer format-
they used that same “music trick” when they released the Get Out trailer: start the trailer off with a tune we all know, then ssslowww it downnnnn as things get suspensefullllll. It works. It just looks like they ran out of trailer ideas

The movie is very similar to Frequency in a lot of ways if you've seen that. I think it's pretty good. You need to suspend your disbelief quite a bit but if you just go with it, it's quite interesting and suspenseful. It also has a (barebones) blu-ray release.

Another "out there" horror gimmick from Blumhouse, but I like it.

I definitely got my eye on this.
