Hi
I am thinking about buying an UHD Player. Since I am still using mainly my Full-HD projector (Sony HW55) I was wondering if the HDR Optimizer from the Panasonic UB820 would be an advantage or if it doesn't matter because the projector can't show HDR anyway and I can save some quid and just buy the UB450. |

The only caveat is that I think the Optimizer is disabled during HDR to SDR conversion, so whilst the 450 doesn't have the feature it does have some adjustability when you're watching with your projector.
I will try and check to see what the 420 does and report back. |

So you get the HDR Optimiser, Dynamic Range Adjustment and DR Conversion Adjustment. It's pretty comprehensive if you're going to be converting. The 450 mentions Picture Mode and Picture Adjustment in the manual, but doesn't expand upon those features. |
