Default Star Wars: Visions

https://www.darkhorizons.com/star-wa...urette-titles/

Quote:
As part of Anime Expo Lite this weekend, Disney announced more details about its previously announced anime series “Star Wars: Visions”.

The anthology work will see seven Japanese animation studios creating nine different short films, set within the “Star Wars” universe, for Lucasfilm.

The full list of who is creating what short has been released, along with a featurette about the production.

Creators – Short Title
  • Kamikaze Douga – “The Duel”
  • Geno Studio (Twin Engine) – “Lop and Ocho”
  • Studio Colorido (Twin Engine) – “Tatooine Rhapsody”
  • Trigger – “The Twins”
  • Trigger – “The Elder”
  • Kinema Citrus – “The Village Bride”
  • Science Saru – “Akakiri”
  • Science Saru – “T0-B1”
  • Production IG – “The Ninth Jedi”

Each studio will use their signature animation and storytelling styles to realize their own visions, all with Japanese sensibilities and unshackled from canon or time period.

Each short will stream exclusively on Disney+ starting September 22nd.

I’m sure a thread about an anime can exist in the Anime sub-forum just fine.

I totally agree. The moderators usually combine them, though.

No.
Any chance to post Cary Grant gifs, take it.

(though honestly I'm looking forward to this, I hope they're subtitled)

Looking real good. But I'm worried there's too many lightsaber stories. So, I'm hoping that podrace scene gives up some nice diversity.

I committed the original sin of enjoying Last Jedi and haven't had the energy to touch anything else. Rogue One was extremely boring. I'll definitely watch the rest of the Visions shorts too, but that Imaishi one tho first definitely.
