Default Pre-Cert Video History from MGM/UK (in 1983): COOL BREEZE (1972)

♠ Blaxsploitation Fun ♠

The Man will not reign supreme!

A bit of British Pre-Certificated video history in the attachments; I snapped these pics of my PALs last Thursday. I hope you enjoy them. I've been picking up pre-certs since early 2006 starting with the 1972 movie "The Carey Treatment" being the first.

Note COOL BREEZE was not released on VHS in the U.S. so when I discovered in late 2006, via the Pre-Cert Database, that it was issued in the UK on video I set about to finding it (along with two other MGM/UK blaxsploitation titles; "The Hit Man" and "The Slams").

I found two nice COOL BREEZEs -- I always have ♠spare-itis♠ -- and I was fortunate both still had the Cast Card inside the box. It seems that because the Cast Card frequently got loose in the boxes a lot of them simply disappeared or were thrown out over time. In any case, MGM/UK phased out their use of the inner Cast Cards sometime in 1984. Some '84 MGM/UK releases have them and some don't.

And remember: These aren't for sale in Australia or South Africa. (Or there will be severe punishment! ).

Comments and observations welcome.
