Default question about mac and wmv

first of all how do i make it so i can play wmv's i have saved to disc or that i download on my mac? second of all what program do i use to burn dvds so i can view them through my bluray on my tv?

Flip4Mac will allow you to play WMV files. You don't need anything but the Media Components for QuickTime here:

As for DVD burning solutions, there are many, with Roxio's Toast and Popcorn being among the most popular. Here's a good place to start looking:

ok so i got the flip thing and now when i insert the disc it shows the picture of the movie its supposed to be but....

it pops up and says "this movie could not be opened.....this is not a movie file"
what gives?

RealPlayer for OS X also plays WMV files.

For burning, Toast has support for Blu-ray with normal DVD-R's, but just realize you cannot copy/back-up a Blu-ray movie disc itself, even with a Blu-ray burner.

yep i do.....just wanted to burn some porn to dvd to play on the bigscreen.

i also got the wmvs working, thanks guys
