The lack of a back cover image or bar code makes me wonder too

Look like Asian bootlegs, I've bought stuff like this for pennies in junk shops and the quality is hit and miss. For example Star wars episodes 1 thru 6 were unwatchable while the complete Curb Your Enthusiasm were clones on the fine USA discs.
