Any Budget 3D Projector Advice?

It's probably a little odd to be looking for a 1080p 3D projector now, since they've become passe, but I've decided to buy one. I'm not concerned about 4K. Don't have a 4k player, and blu-ray still looks great to me. I'm no expert on picture quality, but I like sharp images, good contrast and vivid color as much as anyone else.

Basically, I'm looking for the most bang for my buck. Here's what I'm considering:

• I'd like it to be 3D
• It's for a 100" - 110" screen (12 x 15 room)
• Viewing in a dark or very dim room
• Less than $1,000 ... much less if possible

Any knowledgeable advice for this projector novice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
