Adventures of Pinocchio AKA Die Legende von Pinocchio 3D Blu-ray (1996) [Region Free]

Has anybody ordered "Die Legende von Pinocchio Blu-ray".

It looks like the 1996 movie with Martin Landau and Johnathan Taylor Thomas.
Amazon.de specs say that it is Region Free and Sprache: Deutsch (DTS-HD 5.1), Englisch (DTS-HD 5.1) audio tracks.

Obviously the movie wasn't shot in 3D and is a post-conversion specifically for this Concorde Video Blu-ray release. I ordered out of curiosity. If not good, there's a 2D Blu-ray version included. This movie hasn't had a HD version released, so it will be an upgrade from my old non-anamorphic DVD in the cardboard snapper case.

Hi Doombear,

Don't wish to damper your expectations but even though you don't expect much of anything as far as 3D, please note a film released in non anamphoric 480p probably won't look much better than the DVD upconverted if it's not remastered. The Blu-ray will only reflect what has been put on it.

Actually would love those two Geico commercials featuring Pinocchio to be in 3D. Imagine that nose protruding from the screen!
