Might be in for that Steelbook. Love the 3D on this but the HDR should look really nice. (And thanks to DMR, I got the 3D with slipcover for free anyway lol)

So this is why Disney was clearing out their DMR stock :P

I got the 3D release from DMR (despite hating 3D lol), the movie is fine but I personally probably won't watch it again but I know a bunch of people were wanting this and any catalog on 4K, like with TV on BD, is welcome.

All of today's release info is just rekindling my frustration at the short-sighted BDA and their failure to include 3D in the UHD spec.

Same sentiments here as this was another great looking film on 3D.

At least It's 1.85:1 AR. So there won't be any complaints about no show of VAR.

By the way wasn't there any info on a Signature Collection release of the original Jungle Book. They will most likely be released on the same day (hopefully with Fantasia as well like 101 Dalmatians was released alongside Maleficent 4K and Sleeping Beauty).

At the rate Disney is dumping their recent titles on 4K, I could see this coming next year, along with the Star Wars saga (when Ep 9 hits 4K) and the rest of the Pixars (either with Onward's theatrical release, or with its home release).

I have a theory that Disney will release a batch of films every two months.
September - most of Pixar.
November - Disney Revival.

So my guess is:
January - 5 Remaining Pixar films.
March - the 5 later Renaissance films (coinciding with Live Action Mulan).
May - 5 Early post Renaissance films.
July - 5 Later post Renaissance films.

Beauty and the Beast is said to be released on March from a German site.

Legit shocked at all of the stuff that Disney is putting out. I thought for sure that they would hoard all of their material for streaming.

Maybe they realize that the streaming crowd is completely different from the physical media crowd and are willing to cater to both. I kinda have a feeling that this is more of them just dumping their archives while there is money to be made and will hoard their future content.

I think it will be very telling what happens with the Mandalorian.

I’ll pass on this but I like seeing more announcements from Disney. Give me some BFG, please.

The 3D was great but I don't like the movie itself enough to be buying it again. I think...

What I most certainly will buy again, are both Alice movies and Tron Legacy. I really hope these will find their way onto UHD also...

Well that was the expectation, it will release alongside the final Signature Collection title in the original.

They've already confirmed Fantasia is not apart of the line.

Oh yeah, I'd definitely take BOTH Tron movies on 4K UHD. And while we are talking Disney movies, I'd also take John Carter, and The Rocketeer if I'm allowed some wishful thinking.
