I havn't seen just a whole lot of werewolf movies but several of them were just plain horrible. Anyway, my favorite movie with werewolves in it would have to be Underworld. I know it's more a vampire movie than werewolves but it's the best one I've seen.

I'd have to say The Howling. Then American Werewolf in London.

BTW, Wolfen is not a Werewolf movie. They are just wolves.

Ah, hell. I meant to vote for "An American Werewolf in London" and voted for "In Paris" instead. Inferior movie.

London scared the hell out of me as a kid and while the effects don't hold up as well is still one of my favorite werewolf movies. Silver Bullet was great as a kid. I'd love to see a new werewolf movie, and if Del Toro was at the helm... sign me up.

I know it is outdated. But Lon Chaney as the Wolfman was great. I guess I am biased from my first viewing when I was a kid ! Oh well. I did like The Howling as well ! But the old Universal Monster movies hold a place in me old heart !

An "American Werewolf in London", however without "The Wolfman"
we wouldn't be talking, then, "The Howling". Both "The Wolfman" and "American Werewolf" do classic work in portraying the personal lycanthropy sufferers experience, the pain, the heartbreak, the inevitability. Both are very powerful....

Dog Soldiers.

If you like werewolf movies at all, see this movies.

You can't claim you like werewolf movies unless you see this movie.

It's low budget, it's campy, it's British.

But it is SO good.
