Finally, this better be good. Hopefully the extended cut as well, and with the correct aspect ratio. All other Blu-rays around the world have zoomed-in picture.

Of course this is announced shortly after I imported a copy... That being said if they get some snazzy new extras I'll grab this. I love Shout Factory and all they do so I'm likely on board.

I saw this earlier in the year on Netflix and I loved it enough that I bought the Momentum release.

Wasn’t this a Sony title? Did Shout! do the impossible and license from Sony? Maybe we can expect Starman soon??????

It was indeed a Sony title. I've got the DVD sitting on my shelf. Shout! really knocked it out of the park today with this announcement as well as the long awaited announcement for the domestic release of The 'Burbs! Great stuff! And agree that a SONY partnership would be fantastic!

It seems the Sony DVD release is now discontinued which might mean they no longer have the home entertainment rights.

Never could've predicted Shout would get this. Great to see it finally getting a U.S. Blu-ray so I can watch it, hopefully an excellent one.

I wouldn't have expected it to be a Shout release either.

I already own the Canadian & UK Blu-rays, but hopefully this will improve upon those.

Like everyone else, I'm very happy this is finally getting a stateside release. I too have the old UK release with the lossy DD audio so I'm looking forward to, hopefully, a trifecta upgrade in pq, aq, and extras.
Bruno Ganz is Hitler! From the moment he first appears it's almost as if you're watching a documentary rather than a reenactment. I've always been fascinated with the final days of the Third Reich and this film covers it very well.

Already have the UK release (with hardcoded subs). Don't remember anything remarkable about the V/A quality.

Wonder how the CAD alliance release is gonna stack up to this one.

I had the DE disc, but it has lossy audio and burned-in subs. The CA disc is a step up with lossless audio and removable subs.
