Edit: I found no such thing as a "collection average". The site provides an average of all the films you rate.

Can't seem to find this, but my lowest not-part-of-a-boxset release is Ghosts Of Mars at 5.2. Which is a fantastic package by Indicator and a guilty pleasure of mine.

It's not the forum average for each title in your collection. It's the forum average for each title you've rated, whether in your collection or not.

Since I typically don't add movies to my collection that I rate low, my forum average is lower than it would be were it just for my collection.

Basically you rated all your rated films a bit higher then what anyone else rated that movie. It’s always gonna be pretty close unless someone’s whacked and rates everything a 10 or a 2
