Default The Bridge of San Luis Rey (2004) Epic Pictures Aug. 16, 2022
I am surprised to see this pop up out of the blue.

The 2004 film, "The Bridge of San Luis Rey", written for the screen and directed by Mary McGuickin, and based on Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer prize winning classic novel, is coming to blu ray in North America from Epic Pictures on August 16, 2022. Apparently, it is restored and remastered, as well.

It stars Robert De Niro, Harvey Keitel, F. Murray Abraham, Kathy Bates, Gabriel Byrne, and Geraldine Chaplin.

It was previously released in the US on DVD back in 2005, by New Line Cinema.

I always rather liked this film, although I don't think it ever really found much of a following.

Glad to see it coming.
