I didn’t see a thread for this.
I work in electronics for a major retail chain. We got our copies of True Detective in and there some cool extras mot included in the press release
An extended cut of the finale
Deleted scenes
A conversation with T Bone Burnett and Nic Pizzalto
A feature on the look of each time period.

The first season thread is used as the discussion for this show’s releases I believe. But that is great news that the extended cut of the finale is included! Wasn’t expecting it to be.

Not as good as season one.

I wasn’t expecting any features. I had a big smile when I saw the extended finale included.

Pretty sure that’s everyone else’s take. It’s still a very good season in its own right IMO, aside from a few missteps in the execution of the finale. I wonder if the extended cut on the blu-ray will help with that.

Extended finale sounds interesting. Wouldn't mind if they do that for BLL as well.

Really enjoyed this season, will def plan to pick up when the price comes down a bit. Anyone think it will go down to $25?

Extended cut runs 83 minutes, and is a separate special feature - make sure you don't accidentally play the broadcast cut from the main menu.
