Everyone already knew that Universal and Paramount were going to release Blu-Ray sooner or later. Bill Hunt posted this back a few days after Warner went Blu-Ray.

Penton has hinted at Universal for months. I read a few of those posts in the "insiders thread" a while back. It will happen and it will happen soon. Im just waiting for the official announcement!

This thread should be closed. There is nothing "new" here, and it gives the wrong impression.

While I'm sure everybody shares your enthusiasm and appreciates your well-intentioned effort at spreading good news, it's still one of those "master-of-the-obvious" type posts that points out a fact that everybody is pretty much well aware of already.

That said, if it came from Penton-man, then it's definitely a good sign .

Someone asked Penton about the reasoning behind Uni/para at staying red for now and Penton replied something that felt unrelated or was he cryptic and implying something ???

Penton said something about a parcel being sent by post and the mail man telling him he'll get it in 7 to 10 days ...

hmm what does he mean ?

That was no mystery, he sent a jacket to Mystik.
There is NOT always hidden meaning.

No, but it IS Penton-Man. He's usually very scrupulous about quoting in context, and that's a pretty serious mistake, which is why it's being scrutinized; this is exactly the sort of bizarre bread-crumb trail he's left for us in previous hints to give himself an opening to say later "See, I did tell you, if you were paying attention!".

Not saying that's what's happening here, but it does seem a bit... out of character.

There is a reason, after all, that people refer to the "Penton decoder ring."
