Haven't heard anything but i'm wondering if they will release the upcoming 2 hour special on bluray not to long after it premieres. I'm guessing they might hopefully anyway.

The dvd is being release on 11/25/08, just 2 days after it premieres, so if it is released it won't be day-and date with that. I wish it was being released then on blu so I could skip the tv premiere and watch it without commercials.

I was thinking the same thing, bummer it won't be.... I'm hoping there will be some sort of Blu 24 early to mid next year....

I agree but heh that what DVR is for until that fateful day it arrives on Blu!

The DVD edition is slightly extended if I'm not mistaken though - really wish it was coming to Blu. This is probably the first 24 DVD I'll be skipping (not including the season 6 premiere which was a ridiculous cash in IMO)

These things can't come to blu fast enough. I've had to rebuy them because I tell myself I am going to stop watching until blu comes out and give them to family.

I'm really pleased that the november 23rd movie is out on dvd only two days after...I am going to miss the live broadcast and will get to watch it louder with no commercials on dvd!

idk which versions to add to my collection. mine are in plastic regular cases no slips. and not the fold out 1s.. i only have 4 seasons. all but 1 r in plastic regular cases. 1 is slip with the slim dvd cases inside
