I wonder how many more of these BD-R releases we will have to suffer through. I can hardly wait for Sony to finish scratching this itch and go back to proper catalog releases.
For The Net, I got tired of waiting, and imported the pressed international disc from Sony, but I would have re-bought a proper US BD for the audio commentaries, which are conspicuously absent from that edition. Perhaps the film will get a licensed release in the UK with the commentaries, but until then, the international disc is more than sufficient. |

This one and Sneakers will definitely make anyone who has used a computer at any point over the last 15 years laugh. Time has not been kind to them, not in a way where it becomes retro like WarGames.

Ew.
On-demand Blu-ray? I hadn't fully realized that this was happening now. An absolute classic computer / hacking movie from right in the middle of my teen years - but I'll import the Italy release, rather than give the studios any reason to think burned Blu-rays are a good idea. It's nice to see the Italy release at the top of search results from Amazon.com. |

This can be bought from other countries released by Sony on a PRESSED disc for far cheaper. If you buy this from another country you're supporting Sony but not for burn on demand BS. I'd rather make my own BD-Rs of movies unavailable worldwide, thank you very much.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll just buy the DE or IT release for practically dirt cheap compared to what Sony USA is price-gouging for the BD-R. |

as for the pressed discs. I would rather download an HD copy from the "net" (he he) than pay for burned media. Import it is then Last edited by wormraper; 01-14-2017 at 10:35 AM. |
