Just like The Boy Friend, another WAC title I haven't watched yet own on both LD and DVD-R. I really ought to, it looks like a neat movie.

For me personally, the WAC title I've been waiting for the most of the ones that were released by WAC on DVD before, that is.

Although it's not nearly as good of a movie as 2001: A Space Odyssey, I've always found Proteus from Demon Seed a scarier character than HAL from 2001. The voice they used for him is perfect.

I remember it freaked the hell out of me when I saw it as a kid.

Grabbed the DVD a few years ago and got around to watching it last year. Not great, but I liked it - if only that it nicely captures that 70's sci-fi vibe.

Anyone that likes 70s sci-fi dystopia like WestWorld should like this movie. This movie and WestWorld really got me fascinated by that sub-genre when I watched them on TCM. And I think that Demon Seed is actually a better film overall than WestWorld.

Just like Westworld, this one is ripe for a remake. Back in the day, this was seen by many as ridiculous sci-fi fluff. Computers that talk? Houses that, like, do stuff? Artificial intelligence? Now, in the age of Siri, Watson, and smart homes on every block, this could be downright terrifying with the right filmmaker at the helm.

When I saw the trailers for "Her" a few years back, I was ultra-bummed it wasn't a stealth gender swap remake of "Demon Seed".

I STILL really want to see a gender swapped remake to happen.

I watched this as a kid after seeing the cool pictures of the makeup in "Making a Monster." I was mostly perplexed by the very abstract spinning polygonal computer. I'm curious to see it again, but think I might have to rent it first

Here's hoping that Warner Archive pulls out Razorback with a 2017 HD remaster in the proper 24fps rate (unlike the mediocre aussie disc)
