So far, the only issue I currently have with ALIEN OUTLAW (1985) is the cover art; it reminds me of the McDonalds wall menu where they have pictures of juicy burgers but that's not what you actually get:

TBD. It was supposed to be Underworld (aka Transmutations) (1985) 4K but that got delayed to January.

Theory here: cult films aren’t always violent or sleazy (but that does help!!), they’re just films with a smaller audience and a smaller appeal than other films.

Nearly a year ago when Paramount announced the Paramount deal and said that another movie, one that has been notoriously OOP, had its soundtrack cleared and would be coming out from another studio.

That film: Little Darlings.

At least Alien Outlaw looks like scenes from the movie, but The Dark Power artwork looks nothing like the actual movie. Even by 80s standards that would've been very misleading.

I wonder how this will compare to the Le Chat Qui Fume & Mondo Macabro releases:

The Mondo and Le Chat Qui Fume editions utilize a French print and the Italian hardcore negative in separate approximated reconstructions of Franco's intended version (the Mondo version runs longer at the end because it uses an additional take from a different angle of the final shot).

Hope they include the following extra from the French BD release with added subs as this is the ONLY extra that isn't English frendly on said French release.

Hopefully the two Kino Cult threads get merged and I'm kind of hoping that this thread gets a Sticky at some point, so I can easily find it.

With regard to the Kino Cult releases, is the thought process that Kino will be going after some different kind of releases than what they would normally pick up and release? Sort like the kind of releases that Vinegar Syndrome might normally be interested in? I haven't quite gotten a feel for this particular Kino Lorber line yet.

I'd be so happy if Kino could snatch up titles VS would usually get their hands on.
