Default Bruiser - directed by George A. Romero (2000)

Recently re-watched GAR's great horror/revenge flick Bruiser (2000). Well-done film about a guy who lets everyone walks all over him - until he decides to strike back.

The PQ on the DVD is adequate, but it would be great to see this in HD. Here's hoping a Blu of this film will be coming out at some point.

This might be the only film of his not on blu-ray. I've never seen it, so I'd buy this.

Bruiser is definitely underrated, and worth seeing. I think it's all-but-unknown these days for a couple of reasons:

1) It's directed by GAR, but is pone of his few "non zombie" films - so is largely ignored by fans/the general public.

2) It's not widely available; the DVD is long OOP, and, as was said, it's never been on Blu.

I like almost all the Romero stuff I've seen (zombies or no zombies), so I would get this if it ever got a blu-ray release.

There is a German Blu-ray, but I believe it's 1080i.

Oh come on. Could Arrow or Scream Factory pick this up? It's a shame that this Romero underrated title isn't seeing the light of day.

I'm really surprised that Lionsgate hasn't already done a Blu-ray for it. I just rented this one digitally and loved it. This release would also be a day-one buy for me. George Romero was a master filmmaker!

On a related note, I really hope the U.S. gets a 4K release for Dawn of the Dead so I don't have to import a limited UK set.

Dear Scream Factory. Please strong arm Lionsgate and get this released!
