Did Blu-ray mostly do away with the PAL/NTSC Difference?

Hey guys, I recently read that due to HDTV's generally supporting both NTSC and PAL standards(and actually exceeding them with 100+htz refresh rates), that there would be none of the differences found in DVD between the two formats(PAL region was sped up slightly, pitch was higher etc). I checked a few of my Australian Blu Rays and found that the run time was longer than the Australian DVD counterparts(again because the PAL DVDs were sped up slightly) but my Blu Ray copy of Pulp Fiction has the same run time as the DVD version.

How common/rare is it that PAL Region Blu Rays are sped up/not derived from the NTSC masters. I am hoping it is quite rare...

Most movies and TV shows from all regions run at their original frame rate of 23.96 on Blu-ray. But there are still occasional movies and TV shows that are made from PAL masters and run at 25 frames per second.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed my PAL Three Stooges DVD collection ran at the same runtime as the US DVD counterpart which was a nice surprise too as I doubt that will ever see a Blu Ray conversion.
