I am thinking about buying this 4K blu ray player but I would like to know how good is this compared to to players like Sony, panasonic and samsung in terms of playing 4k content and 4K HDR movies. How good is the picture quality on playing both 4K movies and DVD'S

It’s a bare bone players, cheap, and the last post doesn’t inspire quality. People don’t buy players like this expecting much. When it works it’s acceptable to people that have paid as low as $59. Very little interest online about it.

Magnavox makes s@#t. They always have and probably always will. If you don't want a piece of s@#t, then don't buy this.

If you have a cheap 4k HDR tv then you might as well get this player. If not, no real reason to get this player since its so bare bones.

Anybody who has this player..... have you noticed how loud it gets? Watched a beautiful day in the neighborhood on it and I swear it sounded like a jet engine. Lol

It's ready to fly back to Wal-Mart most likely.

Don't really care for the Magnavox brand I remember in the 90's I bought a CRT from them. Brought it home, plugged it in and it was defective right out of the box. It was a 32" inch set and it was just a big hassle and disappointment.

Their tech is definitely better today with 4K TV's and players out there. Not my cup of tea though but for most people this player should be good enough.
