In for Prancer. The nostalgia is strong with this one.

"Home for the Holidays" is underrated. I saw it when I was a kid and it flew way over my head, but I saw it again a few years ago and thought it was pretty damn funny.

I have avoided seeing this film for the past 5 ish years hoping they someone would get it released at some point on BLU just in time for the holidays.

Glad they kept that artwork.

I really liked Home for the Holidays. This movie was when Robert was really in the thick of his addiction, but still gave a great performance.

Even in his former crisis, Robert Downy Jr. always have been a good actor. His performance in Less Than Zero was superb. No one knew at the time when that movie was made, Robert Downy Jr. was actually playing himself because, his substance abuse was a secret and not exposed publicly.

Thrilled to see "Home for the Holidays" getting a blu release!! It's been on the top of my wish list. A gem. I hope the commentary by director Jodie Foster is included. She's not only a great commentator on her film, but very insightful on family dynamics and disfunction.

Not huge. She has a couple of short scenes, but she's memorable in them. Worth seeing if you are fan of Claire Danes in my opinion.

Geraldine Chaplin is an absolute riot in this! Such an underrated actress. Definitely picking this up.

Yes! She's perfection. The icing on the cake of an already incredible cast.

Home for the Holidays is now my most-anticipated title of the year (along with Maurice). This is in my top 10 movies of all time!

Home for the Holidays is an incredible movie with a kick ass ensemble cast.
I love the line " boy that's a BIG TV! ( referring to a 25inch!)
great to see this come on blu
would be amazing if there was a new commentary like they did on Christmas Vacation.
Just saying..

I don't need a new one. Just hope Jodi Foster's original commentary is ported over!

It would be nice if there were subtitles (it says "none"). Lots of low dialogue in this film.

Have any other Shout discs as of late not had them?

I'm with you 100%, but I think (hope) it'll be updated eventually to have them -- you're right, a film like this, absolutely dialogue-driven, must have subtitles.
