I have previously been running a 5.1 set up in my living room. However I have recently acquired a 6th speaker and I was interested in doing a 6.1 set up. However here is my dilemma. My couch is against a wall. I really do not have an option to move it so I cannot put the 6th speaker behind me. So my question is this, would there be any benefit to mounting the speaker directly above the couch, where the wall meets the ceiling, and pointing the speaker directly down at the main seating area? My Livingroom layout is really strange and I don't have a lot of other options (trust me husbands, the "law" has spoken LOL!). I included an attachment of the layout of my Livingroom just to give you a visual. Sorry for the crude scale of everything.
