I read on a Facebook page that The Mutations (Donald Pleasence, Tom Baker) is coming out on Blu-ray in France, another poster hinted that they wouldn't import it as there are rumours of it coming out here. I have the Ryko Dvd of this but would love an upgrade. Has anyone heard anything of an imminent release?

Using the same techniques that he developed mixing the DNA of plants and animals, he begins crossbreeding plants and humans with unpredictable results. One by one his failed experiments are cast off to the circus until the freaks have had enough and seek their bloody revenge.

This updated take on Todd Browning’s FREAKS is Directed by award winning director / cinematographer Jack Cardiff (African Queen, , Red Shoes) and features a stellar cast including Donald Pleasence, Tom Baker, Brad Harris and Michael Dunn.

Try it in a different browser I guess. It's still showing up as In Stock for me when I refresh the page to check it.

Yeah, they must be getting slammed. The site is soooo slooooowwww. I had to reload some checkout pages multiple times. But I finally got my email that shows my order when through -and despite having to resubmit some things a few times, it looks like I'm just getting one copy which is great. I was a little worried I'd end up with 5 or 6. I like the limited release but 200 feels like a small number. I'm sure it will sell out in no time.

The release itself is not limited to just 200, just the Bonus CD with the first 200 orders...which does not include audio tracks from Freakmaker.

Looks like 5 copies of that are left currently...

Yeah, I found it to be a rather weird description for the CD as well.

I'm always game for more Richard Band music though, so I'm glad I was able to get my order in early for it.

I think the description is worded incorrectly. It can’t possibly be the movie, so it’s just excerpts of the soundtrack.

It is sort of odd. Seems the bonus CD is for a different movie soundtrack (shiver) by the producer of Freakmaker. I missed out on that too, but it's unrelated to Freakmaker so I don't care much. At least the slip and everything else isn't as limited.
