Hi to all,
finally I had this version of ETD

I purchased on ebay,
I'm a collector and I buy it because is the Chinese version, different from US release.
Bluray is mint, perfect on surface, case and slipcover.
Disc number pressed below same as cover.
Unfortunately the disc don't play, not loading.
I had a samsung player free zone, I checked other zone A locked, and played fine. This is the first time that a disc don't work.
I gentle ask if someone have a suggestion ..... I ask also the seller, waiting a reply.

Ho appena controllato, e quel disco è codificato DEFINITAMENTE per la sola regione A.

Per favore scusami l'italiano - è passato un po 'di tempo da quando ero a Roma ...

Yes is strange because other locked A discs play fine .... maybe a faulty disc ? uhm ... very rare don't loaded

Il mio disco blu di Black Panther non giocherà in una delle mie macchine. Non si carica e produce un suono strano quando si tenta di. Non posso spiegarlo neanche io.

Thanks, yes looks legit original, slipcover pictures are glossy and the rest matt
under disc the number pressed is the same of cover, enter the dragon write also.
Surface of disc is mint without any relevant .... disc art have only on upper a stamp not aligned, but look original and legit how you wrote.

I use bluray disc cleaner, and tried again but not play, maybe a incompatibility or a faulty disc ?

Firmware is not updated to last, but is a free player and "maybe" there is problem on update it

The disc is pressed, so it looks legitimate. It is also very possible that whatever region mod that was installed in the player is not 100% compatible with all discs. I know that cheaper mods tend to fail on random discs sometimes.

Maybe this is one of those strange discs that require a flash drive to be plugged into the player to function. If you have a spare flash drive, plug it into the USB port and give the disc a try again.

Assuming you do not have a second region free player, do you have a friend with a region free player that could test it?

Updating region free players is risky. I had a firmware update break my region mod. But, that may have been just bad luck on my part :P

It is very strange why it doesn't play. Maybe it is faulty, or your player just doesn't like it. Maybe a friend could try on their player for you?

Yep, a completely empty flash drive, as the player will erase anything on it.

Thanks, I tried don't work .... the difference I noticed on this disc, is the little and only short 'bar code' (picture attached post before) on below surface, other locked A disc have larger code and two minimum, maybe a reason because my player don't load it ? Uhm sincerely I don't know

I do not think the player will read that area of the disc the bar code is on. Also, different countries may use different types of bar codes.

Unless you can find a another Region A player, or a computer with a Blu-ray drive, it looks like the disc is simply not compatible. You have my sympathy

I agree.... maybe last chance to try, update the firmware, the player is from multisystem-electronics, they did that update the firmware by wifi don't reset/lost the player zone, if the update is made by usb manually, yes, the free option is lost. But update it will resolve ? really don't know if this solution is good, and if usually resolve this problems.

I know this might sound like a stupid question, but are the other Region A BDs you have definitely region A and not just Region Free titles from Region A territories?

No stupid question, I agree is a legitimate question, but I'm sure I checked with other one locked A,
I set the player zone B and I had mismatch, set again to zone A and disc play fine.

Try again with ETD and not load it : "Cannot read. Please check the disc"

One difference to look of the surface disc is that ETD is more "clear" not white but more clear respect the other A

How Vanguard wrote, until I'm not able to check on other player, maybe is simply a disc not compatible (I'm not sure for update firmware) ..... so decision is sent back and ask for refund, or not. Disc faulty ? Thanks
