I was wondering when this movie was going to get a Blu-ray release.

"I know, it all sounds like some bad movie (stares at camera)".

I love these kind of spoofs; Naked Gun, Flying High. Spoofs that families can enjoy not ones targeting teenagers.

The only problem with Shock is they tend to use poor masters.

Vicious circle unfortunately. Smaller distributors can only use masters that they have licenced and are supplied from the studio. Most studios don't want to go the added expense of spending money to restore and remaster catalogue titles unless they are considered their premiere high profile films and most of the smaller distributors don't have the financial resources to create their own restorations, especially for our small market.

Well, they tend to use the masters they’ve given by the rights holder.

Bodes well for Paramount doing more licensing, mind you.
