I wonder how this will compare to the Universal release. Along with the new extras, perhaps they'll include a 5.1 soundtrack on this version?

Didn't Universal just release this in the fall? Seems odd to license it out to Scream so soon afterwards.

Doubt that. I expect the same transfers at this point. Extras will be the high point more than likely along with the nice cover art.

I have the Arrow release but will double dip if this has a Wes Craven commentary and an in depth documentary. Not a fan of Callum Wadell's commentary tracks even if it was with the kid actor from the film.

It would need something major for me to double dip.

They are obviously capitalising a little on the TV show announcement.

Hmm... strange choice, this one.

Casual fans would have bought the Universal release and more seasoned collectors would no doubt have imported Arrow's SE.

So who is this aimed at?
