Default I couldn't shop today cuz my mind is blu!

I went shopping today and I couldn't buy anything that I liked cuz I kept putting the total prices into the amount of blu-rays I could get. Of course, the amount of blu-rays always outweighed the piece of clothing. Does anyone else have this problem? haha I kept telling myself that I could wear my old clothes a little longer. I haven't had a hobby like this since baseball and football cards back when I was a kid.

I would normally say its time for an intervention, but would probably get lynched. Trust me, you have moved far beyond the "hobby" stage and yes, that IS a statement of denial.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB MAN!!!

I think its normal to think like that. I have spent money and thought about it later, like 2 minutes later and think to my self that I should have done something else with the money.

For those of us who live in the States, if Congress passes the tax rebate referendum recommended by the President (and if you file taxes) you will get an $800 rebate this spring (per person), enough to buy yourself a ton of blus

This sounds familiar. I too often consider this when i buy lunch everyday at work in the amount of $5-7 dollars/day. If I only didn't eat then I could purchase and extra 2 blu-rays a week. I have tried to combat the hunger pains with Cup of Noodles and Cheerios, but I almost always break down and buy lunch even though I hate spending the money.

The good ol' college days. Eating nothing yet still satisfied the hunger with $.25c cups of noodles. Nowadays however, hunger strikes harders and faster, lol

Mystik!!! You just shattered all of our fantasies about you being an ivory Blu-ray goddess who chooses to wander the earth without garb in exchange for the ultimate in entertainment experiences. Now... if you will excuse me... I must go cry myself to sleep...
