HOOK is a great Steven Spielberg movie!

Hopefully, the U.S. will have both an UHD and a standard Blu-ray of the 4K restoration. I know there's a 4K restoration of the film because I found it listed as a 4K DCP on Park Circus.

I know this movie is a classic but I still think this underrated. This movie had tons of heart.

It'll come to the US also. The international sites just always list it 1st.

This is my #4 favorite film of all time. I’m just speachless at this point. I’ve bought this day one on every format. I thought for sure after seeing the bluray in the bargain bins for years and years meant Sony wasn’t going to think this a profitable release in 4K. It’s my birthday in a few days and this is the best news I could have asked for. Do we think this will get the same top notch Sony treatment?

This is one of the earliest films I clearly remember seeing in theaters. I loved it then and still love it today. AND it's a Sony release! This is great news.

Was just thinking about this movie the other day. The scene where he flies over the sun after finding his "happy thought" of becoming a dad gives me goosebumps.

I wish I liked this movie more. I'll still buy it, it's Sony. Robin Williams + John Williams gives it just enough Williams to get my dollars.

Watched this several times on VHS when I was young! Wow, surprised by this. Not sure how I’ll feel now about it, but glad it’s getting a 4k release.

I have never seen the film. I wanted to get the regular blu but this is incredible news.

It's been settled. Sony is KING when it comes to 4K.

Loved this movie as a kid but when I watched it about 10 years ago I thought it was one of the worst things I’d ever seen. Of course, there’s something about UHDs that can really help me find new things to appreciate in movies I had previously written off, so I’ll probably give this another chance.
