I have a Emotiva amp that I connect to my Yamaha receiver via rca pre outs. The issue I have is that the RCA terminals on the Emotiva are not that well built. The RCA cables that connect to the Emotiva end are pretty loose. Sometimes they just fall off. Is it safe to use a RCA to XLR cable? The yamaha pre outs will still be RCA, but I'll be connecting the other end with XLR on the Emotiva side. I know the signal won't be balanced. I just want the connection to be secure.
