I have no idea what the issue is but it clearly isn't affecting everyone. |

Does anyone know if the UK sync problem is just with Annie Hall and not Manhattan too? I doubt it'd be the same with both just checking before I buy Manhattan. I'd love to get Annie Hall too but not if there's a problem with the transfer...is it really noticeable?

This issue only affected Annie Hall. And apparently skipping the chapter back when playing starts fixes the issue. It was an encoding glitch. MGM should have offered replacement discs but this issue is present on both the US and UK editions of Annie Hall. It did not affect Manhattan or the other Allen releases.

I might just go for it you know. Transfer issues have put me off getting One Hour Photo as well but are these things really that noticeable? They've got to be better than the DVD copy right?

Like I said I did not notice any issues with my copy so it could be a player related issue or maybe I'm just that dense, however the transfer in my opinion is beautiful. It's definitely worth the upgrade.
