Didn't see a thread for this yet.
![]() Caught this in 2012 and forgot about it until my wife mentioned it out of the blue last week. Once I googled "Samuel Jackson sitting in a kitchen film" and this came up I started to remember how good it is. Seems that the Blu and DVD are both OOP. Available on streaming and via Netflix on disc. The original review on this site (in 2012) mentions that despite it being a great upgrade/transfer of a wonderful film, the extras were sorely lacking. Even the commentary is nothing special. The screenplay was written by Cormac McCarthy, based on his 2006 play of the same name. (wiki) Also Tommy Lee Jones directs and the acting is superb. Would love to see HBO stir up a new commentary or some new interviews, preferably with McCarthy involved. |
