So any news/rumors for this one getting a Blu Ray release?

Who else is a fan of this animated series?

Vastly underrated show and kind of a precursor for animated shows with heavy pop culture references like Family Guy. This one was definitely ahead of its time.

It’s sad how relevant this clip is from the show.

Watched this show during it's original run when I was a kid and to this day whenever the name "Orson Welles" is brought up I can't help but think of the clip of him doing "The Living Will" lol.

Did you know the only reason this hasn’t gotten a reboot or revival is ironically because of the Simpsons. you see the creator of the critic is the current show runner of the Simpsons no joke.

And it applies equally well to TV and music.

There were so many funny spoofs. For example, when I've seen Howard's End mentioned in a thread it always reminds me of "Howard Stern's End" from this show.

I'll also add that Lovitz was great in this and also could be a scene stealer in supporting movies roles as well. Thought he was hilarious in both Loaded Weapon 1 and City Slickers II.

I was just about to say I was surprised Mill Creek never put out a budget release of this show given the initial release was Sony, but as it so happens they just did. That's cool. The old DVD was selling for stupid prices on eBay.

I still think the show's version of Jurassic Park 2 was so much better then what we actually got. In fact many of the show's joke movie and sequel ideas are better then what we are getting now.

Does it have the combing and aliasing issues it suffers on crackle by the way is there a way to fix that on crackle?

Yes I think it’s because it’s not in progressive video on crackle.

Such a shame that this series only got 2 seasons.

Does anyone know if the Mill Creek re-issue uses the same transfers as the original Sony release? I'm trying to figure out which release is the best edition.

Also curious, even with it being Mill Creek. Been wanting to watch this show again and don't think I've even watched my old dvd despite having it for over a decade or so. This is one of those shows that always made me laugh as a kid and yet I knew very few people who appreciated it back then. This kind of programming just hadn't caught on yet and a lot of people seem to forget that Family Guy was actually cancelled early in its run due to low ratings.

Basically the same for me except that it's "Rosebud Frozen Peas".
