I'm importing this to North America. But I might cancel it 'cause Blu-Ray.com listed the region as B, while Amazon.co.uk listed it as "Region Free". So is it? I don't wanna have to import this to find out it won't work!

And o the release date is Nov 28th now, with a new cover, using the original with a bit more.

Blu-ray.com will always list UK titles by default as 'Region B', unless someone personally has tested it and changes it to region free or something different.

In this case Amazon is most probably correct as Warner's titles are pretty much always region free.

However note that the DVD that is included will probably be region 2 locked.

Is there already any subtitles/audio information on this UK release?

^It's most likely the same as the US release blu-ray, with DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio.

Ya I'm expecting the DVD to be PAL. I'm cool with that though. I'm just after the blu-ray with DTS-HD MA anyway. It's more expensive to buy the single 3D disc locally here than importing this.

interesting. I preordered this from Choices UK and have chased them for the last couple of days (as it was released yesterday) to be finally told that Paramount have withdrawn it and I will be getting a letter explaining all and my order has been cancelled.
I go straight to amazon.co.uk (where it is showing in stock), order it and is now dispatching soon???

So is this specific to Choices UK, are they going bump again?

Or have Paramount pulled it because of a fault or something (maybe that amazon dont know about yet)?

Anyone know?

Sounds like Choices are talking rubbish, as The Polar Express has nothing to do with Paramount. It's Warner who distribute it.

It's in stock at Amazon, HMV and Play so I highly doubt there is a fault with it.

Can't upload picks at the mo but the subtitles available on the disc are:

English
Dutch
French
German
Italian

I couldnt wait any longer and watched it last night

Was as good if not better than I remember it being at the IMax in 3D - a hell of a lot better than the review on this website.

Just watched this. PQ is a little soft in a few places but apart from that it's fantastic. Excellent 3D & brilliant sound!

It does have a slip and it looks like this:

If I remember correctly it's not a mega shiny slip it's just nice and glossy.
