Change Requirement for Booklets

I really suggest removing the qualification that a "booklet" must have binding. As I catalog my collection, I'm finding a good number of titles that have fold-out booklets with 3 to 6 panels (6 to 12 sides) with significant content related to the release. In fact, some foldouts are far more significant in content than inserts that just happen to be stapled.

The key here for collectors and enthusiasts is that the release contains some type of insert with significant content. It shouldn't matter if it has binding or not. The content is the important part... and users who are rejecting submissions based on the letter of the law are not understanding this because they are focused on just following the letter of the law...

I can see why someone came up with this criteria in the first place, to rule out inserts of little significance. However, perhaps the criteria was created before a time when some labels were releasing significant foldout inserts. As inserts have evolved, so too the criteria needs to be re-evaluated and evolve.

Criterion is a primary example. The only difference between their stapled booklets and their foldout inclusions is that one has staples, the other doesn't. They can have the same number of pages and the same significant content. They just made the "artistic" choice, depending on the release, that one happens to be stapled while another happens to be foldout.

So a release that has a large foldout that contains an essay about the film as well as the technical details about the restoration of the film isn't counted as a booklet?

Also, what is meant by a "two-page insert" anyway? Do you mean a single 1-panel, 2-sided insert, or do you mean a folded 2-panel, 4-sided insert?)

And lastly, what about 2-sided inserts with important information (to some collectors) such as named chapter listings? Collectors tracking down old releases would want to know that a release contains these inserts.
