there are circut citys that are releasing PS3s one day before. And other bits of information that you might want to know. seriously.

Now, I am going on vacation to Richmond on November 15.

Not sure this is possible.

I could see them doing Midnight of the launch, but I can't see how they can legally break any street date outright.

I s'pose they could ship units out before street date and as long as people receive those units on or past the "launch date" all would be well.

They'll be giving tickets to the first 100 people in line, then opening the doors at midnight on the 17th and those 100 people will get a PS3.

They are stating that each of those store will have 100 PS3 units! That's pretty surprising news.
