I love Impractical Jokers, but I'm not sure about this.

EDIT: Saw the trailer, and you know what, it looks fun.

Why though? I've seen a handful of episodes and wasn't impressed at all. Not my kind of humor.

Scorsese shouldn’t worry about Marvel. It’s projects like these that get green lit he should go after.

My personal favorite show on tv, pry seen each episode over 10 times (was super pissed they stopped releasing these on DVD after season 5)

Been waiting to hear when this was coming, they filmed it like a year and a half ago.

Can't wait

(Yes to all you internet people ready to judge, I said it is my favorite show and yes, I also saw Parasite in theaters and thought it was a masterpiece and am a member of Film Independent and all that pretentious crap... I just happen to also love this show and other things that simply entertain me! Shouldn't have to type all of that out, but I can see morons insulting me for liking this show!)

I don’t know why anyone would insult you for watching something you enjoy?

My dad watches Impractical Jokers all the time. It’s the only thing he laughs at.

I only know of one cousin who watches it regularly and whatever, we all enjoy different stuff.

I'm just wondering if it will translate to box office success (which is why I included my comment in the original post).

I know they've had sold out arena tours and whatnot so watch this be the next Jackass series in terms of theatrical success.

I use to watch this all the time when it first started on TruTV, but since that network shows re-run's 24/7 all the time, I git burned out of it. Joe & Murr are funny, but that Q guy is terrible, not funny at all. He's a fat, hairy slob with no comedic skills at all.

Like the show but tbh, this movies not something i ever felt they needed to make. IF say for example they decided to get together and kind of make a comedy around their younger days played out by competent kid actors i could see it maybe working. However as adults, i just feel like they fit best on the TV format. Kevin Hart has sorta managed to transition over but not everybody can or should try.

I actually met Mur filming in London for the show when i went with family. Got him to take a snap with us for my sisters birthday. They always give credit to my brother for some reason

I love the show, but I don't know if I'd venture to the theater for it. Then again, I have A-List, so maybe?

I watch the show but the more recent seasons have been kind of ruined by the fact they’re so well known. I think many people just go along with them for the fun of it and to be on TV. Some reactions to their behavior is way too calm or upbeat.

I mean they’re not genuinely pranking people anymore. Which is not technically their fault but some of there games and punishments have been too over the top. Like you know some must be somewhat staged. The normal, everyday scenarios are still the best ones.

This looks pretty good for a road trip movie but are these pranks real and done for the movie or is it all scripted for the story?

I like the show, also, but I don't know if it will translate well to the big screen.

I, also, like the Jerky Boys and their venture to the silver screen did not go too well.

I'll wait for reviews.

I enjoy the show and I'm a big Q fan from his podcast with Kevin Smith's friends but don't like the framing device on this at all. You need to keep everything as real as possible to be able to let yourself go and buy into some of the more ridiculous aspects of their bits. Paula Abdul's and to a lesser extent the guys' bad acting takes me out of it.

Have A list though so will be seeing it.

I guess Paula must be doing someone a favor, but still, what the hell is she doing in this movie? I mean, if they actually filmed a significant amount of footage with her, then maybe I'll get the Blu-ray (I can't imagine a film with such extensive "reality" footage getting a UHD Blu-ray), but the show is torturous and I can't imagine sitting through this kind of humor for the length of a feature film.

I doubt this will open that wide. Deadline reports the film is set for "select theaters nationwide", so I'd think it will only open in 1000 or less (probably considerably less) though I could be wrong.

Show has always made me laugh. Probably wont go to the theater to see it, but will look for it when it gets released on physical or streaming.

If you don't find Impractical Jokers hysterical, then you have no soul. It's just that simple.
