Any ideas why this is happening? My PS4 is updated with the latest software update and plays all my other Blu-Ray discs and game discs fine with no problems at all.. but The Incredible Hulk keeps freezing up on me.
I tried The Incredible Hulk on my housemates Samsung bd-j4500r Blu-Ray player (that has never been connected to the internet and never had any updates) and it plays fine on that. If it was a disc error then it wouldn’t play on the Samsung and if there’s a problem with the PS4 it wouldn’t play other discs fine. Am I missing something obvious here? Did you make it angry?
It might sound like the most obvious thing in the world, but it could be a dirty disc. Some players are more sensitive to such things - there have been times where I have been ready to snap discs in half when they won't play before common sense prevails, and I give them a good clean with mild detergent. They play after that. And no snapped discs. |

![]() I actually didn’t know some players are more sensitive than others! I figured all players just performed the same as each other in regards to reading discs. The disc is brand new and I can’t see any dirt/smudges/scratches on it but I’ll give it a clean later just incase there’s something I didn’t spot. |
