We are in the year 2112 off the coast of Greece, at the deepest part of the Mediterranean: the Calypso abyss at 5270 meters deep. At this point, an explosion perhaps caused by a violent seismic swarm destroys a scientific base, killing all the underwater researchers. A crew is then instructed to descend into the depths aboard the bathyscaphe Phorcys to investigate the causes of the disaster, but they will find themselves faced with inexplicable events beyond any scientific and rational logic in an adventure that will test the courage, relationships and self-awareness of the protagonists.
