Default Unsolved Mysteries

Id love to see this show put on Blu-ray, even if they only release it in its catagories like on DVD.

Unfortunately, I don't think it will ever come to Blu-ray. I have the Unsolved Mysteries Ultimate Collection on DVD and even then the transfers on the DVDs look pretty poor. Thus I don't hold much hope any improvement on Blu-ray.

I wish they would air the old episodes (hosted by Robert Stack) again...

Been watching the series again on Amazon and it's certainly a much different kind of show now as an adult watching in retrospect. As a little kid, pretty much every episode was absolutely terrifying and gave me frequent nightmares. Now the re-enactments come off as pretty campy and unintentionally amusing. Most of the supernatural episodes on ghosts and ufos are hokier than ever with very dated special effects, but Stack's deadpan style and the creepy music are still classic.

Been watching on Prime. Looks to me like it was shot on 16mm film but weather all the OCN still exists is anyone's guess.
