Dennis the menace (1993) - Blu-ray Forum

I'm trying to get all the films I have seen in my childhood and teens (up to 1997) at the cinema on Bluray, and this is one of the 3 that hasn't been released or announced for a release (the other 2 are True Lies and Free Willy).

Does anyone else like the film? I remember it was fun. And i really liked the Goldsmith score.

Almost 2 years later and nothing.

At least I got Free Willy that I mentioned in my first post.

Hope Warner releases this soon too!

yes, although to tell you the truth I prefer these old films in lower contrast and not higher as they make them to look as "new".

I see what you mean. It looks like they boosted the contrast then toned down the highlights.

Still it looks hell of a lot better than the DVD.

The special edition DVD from 2007 isn't bad, it's got nice extras, but I'm surprised this doesn't have a Blu-ray release yet

Saw this one in the theater as a kid and actually watched it the other night on stream. Seems most folks have forgotten about DTM.

I saw this in theater way back to 1993 twice and it hilarious and so funny film. So anyway I want this release Blu-ray in the future and too bad it not come 25th Anniversary Blu-ray this year... sadly

Hopefully this is the year that Warner Archive Collection or Shout Factory can release this film! One of my Holy Grail titles!

So many early to late 90's movies coming out on blu-ray in the next couple months, and this gem is yet to show up? Is this a Warner Brothers situation where they don't think it's worth releasing? I've been waiting on this for YEARS. Rookie of the Year too!

Always enjoyed this growing up, but haven't seen it in 20 years. Would love a BD though.

There's a 1080p master. Seems ripe for Warner Archive Collection.
